CABLE AND ROPE ASSEMBLIES. Inspect for excessively worn ropes,
cables, and rope sleeves. Inspect turnbuckles for freedom of movement.
Replace any corroded part which is either corroding an attaching
part or which may not be able to withstand operational stresses.

RUBBER RAILS. Inspect the cradle for worn or loose rubber pads.

FRAME. Inspect frame for cracks, corrosion, dents, or other damage.
Treat corroded or exposed metal surfaces in accordance with TM 43-0139.

ROLLERS. Inspect for worn, missing, or damaged parts. Replace
corroded items which are either corroding attaching parts or which
may not be able to withstand operational stresses.
