CAUTION
Do not hold ignition key in the start position for more than 20 seconds at a time
without giving the starter motor a 3-5 minute rest to cool off. Failure to comply could
result in damage to starter motor.
6.
Turn the ignition key to the START position and hold until air is purged from fuel.
7.
Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
8.
Close vent plug (3) on front side of injector pump (4).
WARNING
9.
Clean up spilled fluid with a spill kit and dispose of spill kit waste in accordance with local procedures.
10. Perform operational check of the light tower engine.TM 55-1945-205-10-2
