Using a mixture of trisodium phosphate and detergent, clean filter (4).

NOTE
Mix enough solution to allow for the element to be completely submerged.
a.
Mix four tablespoons of general purpose detergent to one gallon of warm water in utility pail.

Place filter element in cleaning solution and allow to soak for five minutes.
WARNING
c.
Agitate filter element thoroughly in cleaning solution after the soaking period.
WARNING
d.
Remove filter element from cleaning solution and allow to drain.
e.
Flush filter element with clean water.
