Do not exceed 28 vdc on the DC voltmeter. Damage to alternator rectifiers will result.

While watching
DC voltmeter
slowly turn
field current
rheostat clock-
wise until
28 volts are
obtained.
CAUTION
As test stand batteries are charged, reading on DC voltmeter will rise. Field current rheostat must
be turned slightly counterclockwise to maintain 28 volts until battery charging rate has stabilized.

Turn on
master load
switch.
h.
Turn on 50A
and 0-25A load
switches.
