INSTRUMENT PANEL SWITCH REPLACEMENT (Contd)
NOTE
All switches on the instrument panel are replaced the same way.
This procedure covers replacement of one switch.
Tag all wires during removal to assist with installation.
REMOVAL
1. Remove nut (1) from switch (3).
2. Remove switch (3) from back of instrument panel (2).
3. Disconnect four lead wires (4) from terminals (5) on switch (3).
INSTALLATION
1. Connect four lead wires (4) to terminals (5) on switch (3).
2. Position switch (3) through existing holes in instrument panel (2).
3. Secure switch (3) on instrument panel (2) with nut (1).
4. Install instrument panel (WP 0038 00).
5. Connect battery ground cables (WP 0054 00).
6. Close battery hatch (TM 5-1940-322-10).
