MAST ASSEMBLY MAINTENANCE (Contd)
INSPECTION
Inspect upper and lower mast sections for cracks. If cracks are present, refer to TC 9-237 for welding repair.
UPPER MAST INSTALLATION
1.
Install upper mast (1) on lower mast assembly (4) with four screws (2), eight washers (3), and four
new locknuts (5).
2.
Connect upper mast plug (8) with seal (7) to receptacle (6).
