CAUTION
Sleeve bearings (P) installed in levers (F) and (G) at the bracket end are
resting against shoulders (Q). They must be removed from the inside as
shown.
Place lever (F) in vise. Using hammer

and alining punch (R), remove bottom
sleeve bearing (P) from inside as shown.
Turn lever (F) over and repeat steps
to remove other sleeve bearing (P) at
bracket end. Remove sleeve bearing
(P) at pedal end.
Place lever (G) in vise. Using hammer and alining punch, remove bottom sleeve bearing

(P). Turn lever over and remove remaining sleeve bearing (P).
CLEANING AND INSPECTION:

Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 is toxic and flammable.
protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin,
eyes, and clothes and don't breathe vapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat. The
flash point for Type #1 Dry Cleaning Solvent is 100F (38C) and for Type #2 is 138F (50C).
If you become dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air immediately and get medical aid.
If contact with eyes is made, wash your eyea with water and get medical aid immediately.

Using dry cleaning solvent and rags, clean and dry all parts.
2.
Inspect all parts. Replace if unserviceable.
