(4) Operate raft (10) as follows:
Always position scoop control levers so that boats push raft against the shore during loading and offload-
ing traffic.
Rafts operating in a river crossing with more than one raft using same loading and unloading sites will
follow a figure eight traffic pattern.

Open hydraulic pump access cover (7) and set pump control lever(8) to TRAFFIC position, close vent valve
(9) and close cover (7).
Repeat step (a) for remaining hydraulic pump.
