NOTE
Hydraulic pump removed for test, see pare. b below. Shaft rotation is counterclockwise as viewed from
shaft end of pump.
(1) Connect hydraulic pump to test equipment.
(2) Run pump at least 3 min. at each level to verify proper pump operation.
WARNING
When disconnecting any hydraulic line, open line slowly and protect face, as hydraulic oil may spiny out
due to residual pressure in system.
NOTE
When removing hoses, have a suitable container to drain oil from hoses. Also cap all hoses and ports
immediately to prevent dirt or foreign matter from entering the system.
(3) Disconnect hydmulic pump from test equipment. Replace a hydraulic pump that does not meet performance
specifications.
