4-83. Receptacles.

a. Replace. (figure 4-109)
(1) Unlatch (Open) travel latch (1).
(2) Remove four bolts (2), lockwasher (3), nuts (4), strike catch (5) and shim (6).
(3) Remove four bolts (7), lockwasher (8), nuts (9), latch receptacle (10) and shim (11).
NOTE
Do not fully tighten nuts at this point.
(4) Install shim (11), latch receptacle (10), and Secure with four bolts (9), lockwasher (8), and nuts (7).
(5) Install shim (6), strike latch (5), and secure with four bolts (4), lockwasher (3), and nuts (2).
(6) Close travel latch (1) and check clearance between pins (tee) (12) of travel latch and receptacle (10)
and strike catch (5). Clearance should be approximatly.1/16 in. (0.158 cm).
(7) Adjust strike catch (5) and latch receptacle (10) as needed and torque nuts to 31-34 ft-lbs
(42-46 Nm).
