Replace (Rear)INITIAL SETUPToolMaterials/PartsGeneral Mechanic’s Automotive Tool KitGrease, Automotive and Artillery(Item 1, Appendix B)(Item 2, Appendix E)(1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6)(7)(8)(9)(10)(11)(12)(13)(14)NOTEHinge pins can be replaced with the bays in folded position.Loosen nut (1) to relieve tension on cable (2).Remove spring pin (3), pin (4) and remove cable (2) from hinge pin (5).Repeat Steps (1) and (2) for remaining cable.Remove two cotter pins (6), washers (7), and remove pin (8) securing lever (9) to hinge pin (5).Remove nut (10), bolt (11), collar (12), washers (13), and hinge pin (5).Remove spring pin (14), pin (15), and remove lever (9).Remove bolt (16), nut (17), and remove long link (18).Remove bolt (19), nut (20), and remove short link (21).Install short link (21) and secure with bolt (19) and nut (20). Torque bolts to 120-132 ft-lbs (162-179 Nm).Install long link (18) and secure with bolt (16) and nut (17). Torque bolts to 120-132 ft-lbs (162-179 Nm).Apply grease to pin (15).Install cover (9) on both links (18) and (21) and secure with pin (15) and spring pin (14).Apply grease to pin (5).Install hinge pin (5), two washers (13), collar (12), and secure with bolt (11) and nut (10).
