(14) Landing Roller Pedestal Mk 2 (LRP)
The landing roller pedestal holds the landing roller and receives the launching nose on the far side of the gap. The
Mk 2 LRP is used for all link reinforced bridges. The height of the LRP is adjusted with a hydraulic jack (20 ton).
WARNING
Use great care when the pedestal is being raised or lowered. Serious bodily injury may result if
LRP is improperly operated.
