FUEL TANKS (LEFT AND RIGHT) UPPER REAR MOUNT REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 3)
REMOVAL:
1.
Using 15/16 inch socket, and 15/16
inch wrench, remove screw (A), washer
(B), lockwasher (C), and nut (D), rubber
mount (E), and washer (F).
2.
Using 1/2 inch wrench and 1/2 inch
socket, remove eight screws, washers,
and nuts (G) holding bracket (H) to fuel
tank (J).
3.
Remove bracket (H), mount (K) and
washer (L).
CLEANING AND INSPECTION:
1.
Clean rubber mounts with detergent and water. Rinse clean
with water.
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 is toxic and flammable.
To prevent
personal injury, wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a
well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothes and
don't breathe vapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat.
The flash point for Type #1 Dry Cleaning Solvent is 100F (38C) and
for Type #2 is 138F (50C). If you become dizzy while using cleaning
solvent, get fresh air immediately and get medical aid. If contact with
eyes is made, wash your eyes with water and get medical aid
immediately.

Clean metal parts using dry cleaning solvent. Wipe dry with
rags.

Visually inspect all metal parts for wear.
5.
Replace unserviceable parts.
