MASTER BRAKE CYLINDER MOUNTING BRACKET, TIE ROD, PUSH ROD, CLEVIS, AND
BOOT REPLACEMENT (Sheet 9 of 9)
12.
Place assembled bracket (H) behind
the column on mount assembly(W),
with holes (X) alined.
13.
Using 9/16 inch wrench, install four screws
(Y) and four lockwashers (Z).
14.
Using hands, install forward lip of boot
(G) to rear lip on master cylinder (AA).
15.
Using 9/16 inch wrench, install four
screws (AB) and four lockwashers (AC).
16.
Remove web straps or ropes used to
secure master cylinder.
17.
Install brake foot pedal assembly (page 13-14).
18.
Perform brake pedal adjustment (page 13-17).
19.
Place shift lever in P (park) position and remove blocks from track (TM 5-5420-226-10).
