HUB AND ARM ASSEMBLY REPAIR (Sheet 2 of 9)
DISASSEMBLY:
1.
Using pliers, bend key washer tabs back out of
slot in nut.
2.
Put spanner wrench on nut (A) so pins fit
into slots. Using spanner wrench and handle,
remove nut.
Remove key washer (B) and bearing washer (C).
3.
Discard bearing washer (C).
NOTE
Keep inner and outer races of bearings together as matched
set. If you throw away one race, throw away other one.
Use sleeve spacer (D) like a slide hammer to loosen inboard bearing (E). Remove bearing.
4.
Remove sleeve spacer (D) and outboard bearing (F).
5.
Pull oil seal retainer (G) off upper spindle (H).
6.
Go on to Sheet 3
