Section I. DESCRIPTION AND USE OF OPERATOR’S
CONTROLS AND INDICATORS
GENERAL
This section locates and describes the controls and indicators of the CBT, BAP,
IRB-R, and IRB-I. It is important to learn the location and function of all
controls and indicators before attempting to operate the equipment.
PREPARATION FOR USE
When an IRB-R or IRB-I is received by the using organization, it is the
responsibility of the officer-in-charge to determine whether it has been properly
prepared for service by the supplier. It is the responsibility of the officer-in-
charge to ensure the bay is in condition to perform its functions. Maintenance
personnel will provide any additional service required to bring the bay to
operating standards. Before operating the bays, the operator must become
familiar with the controls and indicators as described in this section.
