The cable end with the male cannon plug is connected to the RCUreceptacle and secured by turning the collar on the cannon plug clockwiseuntil tight. There is an LHS recpetacle located on each side of the mainmanifold support frame for operation of the RCU from either side of thevehicle. The female cannon plug at the opposite end of the cable is connectedto either LHS receptacle, and is secured by turning the collar on the cannonplug clockwise until tight.EMERGENCY STOP SWITCH —There is an EMERGENCY STOP toggleswitch with guard on the control panel of the hand-held remote control unit.When pushed down, electrical power to the RCU controls is shut off and allfunctions of the LHS stop.HIGH IDLE SWITCH —The HIGH IDLE switch on the control panel of theRCU is placed in the ON position to increase engine idle speed to 1,200 rpmfor LHS operation. The truck’s PTO should be engaged prior to increasingengine idle speed.PANEL ILLUMINATION LIGHT —The light on the RCU that illuminatesthe control panel for night operation..WINCH SWITCH —There is a WINCH toggle switch on the control panel ofthe RCU for winch operation. Hold the switch in the OUT position to pay outwinch cable, and release switch to stop winch. Hold the switch in the INposition to pay in winch cable, and release switch to stop winch.HOOK ARM SWITCH —There is a HOOK ARM toggle switch on the controlpanel of the RCU for operation of the LHS hook harm. Hold the switch in theUNLOAD position to move the hook arm up and toward the rear of the vehiclefor unloading operations. Release switch to stop hook arm. Hold the switch inthe LOAD position to move the hook arm down and in a forward directionwhen performing loading operations. Release switch to stop hook arm.MAIN FRAME SWITCH —There is a MAIN FRAME switch on the controlpanel of the RCU for operation of the LHS main frame. Hold the switch in theUNLOAD position to move the main frame up and toward the rear of vehiclefor unloading operations. Release switch to stop main frame. Hold the switchin the LOAD position to move the main frame down and in a forwarddirection when performing loading operations. Release switch to stop mainframe.PONMLKJ
