CRANE EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

12.12.1 Overload Safety Feature

12.12.1.1

If the maximum load capacity is exceeded, all working movements that increase the

load moment and `lower boom' are switched off.

12.12.1.2

Shortly before the maximum load is reached, the crane overload warning lamp

(Figure 12. 29. 7) on the crane column illuminates.

The crane load is reduced by working movements, which decrease the load moment
