BRIDGE RETRIEVAL (Contd)
NOTE
Ensure all exterior surfaces of bridge quarters and
launch beam are cleaned as necessary. If water is
available at bridge site, use pressure pump. Refer to
Operation of Special Purpose Kits, WP 0033 00.
Alignment of CBT with bridge is crucial for retrieval.
Prior to installation of retrieval positioning aid, drive
CBT across bridge to ensure CBT is parallel to bridge
and rear tires are centered with yellow paint marks at
ramp edges. Positioning time required is 3 minutes

Install roadway marker pole on bridge launch beam (1), and install bridge
retrieval positioning aid on roadway marker pole.
