The disposal of Army Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) products are affected by some of these
regulations. State regulations also may apply to POL. If you are unsure of which legislation affects you,
contact state or local agencies for regulations regarding proper disposal of Army POL.
DESTRUCTION OF ARMY MATERIEL TO PREVENT ENEMY USE
The recommended method of rendering the REB useless is to destroy its coupling mechanism using
heavy tools, weapons fire, or explosive charges. Procedures for destruction of Army materiel to prevent
enemy use can be found in TM 750-244-6, Procedures for Destruction of Tank-Automotive Equipment to
Prevent Enemy Use.
PREPARATION FOR STORAGE OR SHIPMENT
Refer to WP 0127 00 for limited storage instructions. Additional information can be found in TM 746-10,
Marking, Packaging, and Shipment of Supplies and Equipment: General Packaging Instructions for Field
Use.

WARRANTY INFORMATION
The Rapidly Emplaced Bridge (REB) is covered by a warranty. All U.S. Army customers requiring
warranty assistance will initiate direct contact through respective unit Warranty Coordinators (WARCOs).
WARCOs will submit all warranty claims for non-consumable items, greater than one hundred dollars, to
the General Dynamics European Land Systems Germany (GDELS-G) Point of Contact (POC) identified
below. Request all claims be submitted both electronically and telephonically.
REB warranty coverage applies to the following end item:

The REB warranty period of performance provides complete "bumper-to-bumper" coverage for a period of
13 months. Prior to unit handoff, the REB can be placed into storage for up to 9 months without a negative
impact to the warranty period. The warranty start date begins at customer handoff, upon the acceptance
