INSPECTION
.WARNING.
If any one component of the under-ride bar assembly is damaged,
the complete under-ride bar assembly must be replaced. Failure to
comply may result in damage to equipment or possible injury or
death to personnel.
1.
Inspect bumper assembly (7) for deformation, cracks, or broken welds. If any damage is noted,
replace under-ride bar assembly.
2.
Inspect two energy absorbers (4), eight screws (6), and washers (5) for distortion, bends, cracks, or
stripped threads. If any damage is noted to energy absorbers (4), replace under-ride bar assembly.
