Return the trailering bracket (1) to its stowed position.

Lower the motor to its vertical position.

Connect the lanyard to a secure place on the operator.
3.
Place the shifting and speed control (2) in the neutral position.

Do not exceed 2500 RPM in neutral. Do not exceed 1500 RPM in neutral for extended
periods of time. Failure to comply could result in engine damage.
4.
Start the engine.
