TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
FLUCTUATING GENERATOR FREQUENCY/VOLTAGE AND/OR OSCILLATING ENGINE SPEED
SYMPTOM
Fluctuating generator frequency/voltage and/or oscillating engine speed.
MALFUNCTION
Ambient temperature is greater than 125° Fahrenheit (52° Celsius).
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Do not operate light tower unit.
MALFUNCTION
There is an electrical output overload.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Reduce electrical load.
MALFUNCTION
Electrical output is unstable.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Adjust electrical output as required. Contact depot maintenance.
MALFUNCTION
Engine fuel filters are clogged.
