RING (QUICK-DISCONNECT) ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 3)
NOTE
Do the following procedure for both
sides of powerplant.
REMOVAL:
1. Rotate ring (quick-disconnect)
assembly (A) to a workable
position.
2. Using wire cutter, cut
lockwire (B).
NOTE
When removing screw (C), hold onto
quick-disconnect ring (A) or it will
snap open and fall down into engine
compartment.
3.
Using socket and extension,
remove screw (C).
4. Remove ring (quick-disconnect) assembly
(A) from universal joint (D).
