SUSPENSION TORSION BAR REPLACEMENT (Sheet 5 of 7)
Apply grease to splined ends of torsion bar (A).

grease (1/4-inch
Fill outer end opening with

deep).
Insert unmarked end of bar (A) into roadwheel

support arm (B) housing.
4.
Rotate torsion bar (A) so that index mark is at
top.
Push bar (A) through housing until inside
5.
end enters anchor on other side of vehicle.
When this is done, about 1/2 inch of bar
will be out of housing.
