ENGINE REPLACEMENT
Power Takeoff Installation On Replacement Engine (Sheet 2 of 11)
1.
Place splined adapter (A) in position
over mounting holes on engine damper.
2.
Using 13/16 inch socket, extension,
and torque wrench, install six screws
(B) to secure splined adapter (A) to
engine damper. Tighten screws (B)
to 67-71 lb-ft (90-96 N .m).
3.
Using lockwire (C), wire screws (B)
together in pairs as shown.
4.
Using stud remover/installer and rule,
install eight ling studs (D) to height of
3-1/2 (8.9 cm) inches in holes in engine
damper housing. B o t h mating threads
must be clean and free from oil or grease.
5.
Using stud remover/installer and rule,
install short stud (E) to height of 11/16
(1.7 cm) inch in mounting hole in engine
housing. Both mating threads must be
clean and free from oil or grease.
