Employ proper precautions when installing the retaining ring. The spring plates are compressed under
approximately 1 ton load and could cause severe injury or death if control is lost.
(7) lnstall spring plate (64) and using a suitable press of 1 ton capacity or more, compress spring plate (64) and
springs (66).
(8) Install snap ring (65).
