Make sure powerplant guide lock engages
when guide is all the way back.

Using wire cutters, cut lockwire (AF)
at final drive on both sides of transmis-
sion.
When removing screw (AG) h o l d
onto quick disconnect ring (AH), or
it will snap open and fall down into
engine compartment.
32. Using 3/4 inch socket with universal
joint, remove screw (AG) securing quick-
disconnect ring (AH) from both sides of
transmission.
