DUST DETECTOR FILTER STRIP AND COVER REPLACEMENT (sheet 3 of 3)
INSTALLATION:
1.
Install filter strip (A) in retaining strap
(B) and insert into cover (C).
Install new preformed packings (D), (E),

and (F) into cover (C).
Pull out filter strip (A) so it extends about

1/2 inch past edge of cover (C).
Position assembled cover (C) onto turbo-

supercharger compressor housing (G).
Install screw (H) and washer (J) through
chain fastener (K) and cover.
Install screw (L) and new encased seal
(M).
Install screw (N) and washer
(P).
Using 1/2 inch wrench, tighten screws (H),

(L), and (N).
perform operational test (page 10-298.16).
