REMOVAL:
NOTE
Fuel drain plug is removed to
drain fuel tanks (preliminary
procedures).
INSPECTION:
Inspect fuel drain plug for stripped threads or damaged flats. Replace unserviceable
plug.
INSTALLATION:
Coat fuel drain plug threads with grease (Item 37, Appendix D).

Using extension and hinge handle, install fuel drain plug (A).
3. Install fuel drain access covers (page 16-38).
4.
Fill fuel tanks (TM 5-5420-226-10).
