CENTRIFUGAL FAN HOUSING REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 0f 3)

Remove fan housings (B) from powerplant.
Using 1/2 inch socket, remove ten screws

( C ) securing covers (D) to shroud (E).
4.
Remove covers (D) from powerplant.
Using two 9/16 inch wrenches, remove

t w o screws, lockwashers and nuts (F)
t h a t hold housing (G) and mount (H)
together.
6.
U s i n g 9/1 6 inch socket, remove four
screws (J).

7.
R e m o v e housing (G) and mount (H) from
powerplant.
ISTALLATION:
NOTE
Make sure no foreign matter is present in
fan housing.
P o s i t i o n mount (A) and housing (B) onto

powerplant.
Using two 9/16 inch wrenches, install

t w o screws, lockwashers, and nuts (C)
s e c u r i n g mount (A) and housing (B) together.
u s i n g 9/16 inch socket, install four
3.
s c r e w s (D) securing mount (A) and housing
( B ) to engine shroud.
4.
U s i n g feeler gage, check clearance
b e t w e e n tip of each fan blade and
h o u s i n g (B). If clearance is less
t h a n 0.062 inch, loosen screws (D)
a n d shift housing (B) until

c l e a r a n c e is obtained.
