FAN DRIVE OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT (Sheet 3 0f 5)
U s i n g hammer and brass drift, drive out oil seal (G) from housing (E) and throw away.

Clean housing (E) with dry cleaning solvent and rags and remove any dried adhesive
and oil.

INSTALLATION:
U s i n g putty knife, coat sides o f replacement oil seal with s e a l i n g c o m p o u n d . U s e c a r e

t o prevent sealing compound f r o m contacting felt part of s e a l .
2.
P o s i t i o n new oil seal (A) in housing with lip of seal toward gasket surface of oil seal
h o u s i n g (B).
