HEADLIGHT BASE ASSEMBLY SHELL REPLACEMENT (Sheet 1of 1)
TOOLS:
Round nose pliers
PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE: Remove headlight base assembly (page 10-181)
REMOVAL:
1. Slide shell (A) up so that lockwasher (B)
is visible.
2. Using pliers, remove lockwasher (B) from
wire (C).
3. Slide shell (A) off wire (C).
INSTALLATION:
1. Slide shell (A) onto wire (C).
2. Using fingers, slide lockwasher (B) onto
wire (C).
3. Using pliers, tighten lockwasher (B) so it
is securely in place.
4. Slide shell (A) over lockwasher (B) and
end of wire (C).
5. Install headlight base assembly (page 10-183).
