PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE: Remove night viewer latch (page 3-32.1).
DISASSEMBLY:
1.
Carefully press release lever and allow mechanism to unwind about one-half turn to latched
position.
2.
If faulty part is not within operating push rod parts, proceed to step 9 and remove parts as an
assembly.
3.
Using 1/8 inch punch and hammer, drive
PU SH
pins (A) flush with pivot (B). Then use 3/
inch alining pin to drive pins out of pivot
