6. Valve plate (F) and cylinder block (C) must
mate perfectly. Check mating surfaces for flat-
ness of fit. If either surface is gouged, nicked,
or damaged, replace part.
7. Examine all other parts for scratches, nicks, burrs, distortion, elongated holes, stripped
threads, and firmness of fit. Replace defective parts.
ASSEMBLY:
2. Using arbor press, install bearing (C).
Manually place bearings (E) and (F) and spacer (G) on drive shaft (A).

Using arbor press, install bearings (E) and (F).
