HEU VALVE BANK PREFORMED PACKINGS AND FITTINGS REPLACEMENT

INSTALLATION:
NOTE
Use this procedure to install any of the fittings or elbows located on the
manual valve bank assembly. Rear fitting is shown.
It may be necessary to remove one or more fittings for access.
Remove all caps or plugs from hydraulic lines or openings when installing.
1.
Manually install preformed packing (C) on adapter (A). Using a 12 inch adjustable wrench, install adapter
(A) in back of valve bank (B).
2.
Install any hose that was removed for access (page 3-70.1).
3.
Bleed hydraulic system (page 3-72).
4.
Check for hydraulic leaks and correct as necessary.
5.
Service hydraulic reservoir (LO-12).
