FREE LAUNCH OF BAY (Contd)
NOTE
If pulling lanyard does not release front lock pin
assemblies, ensure BAP air hose is properly connected and
vehicle air pressure gauge indicates adequate pressure.
z. Launch bay by pulling lanyard (2) toward front of transporter.
NOTE
Perform step aa if pulling lanyard does not release front
lock pin assemblies. Assistant will help with step aa.
Perform steps ab and ac if pulling lanyard releases both
front lock pin assemblies but bay does not roll off BAP.
aa. Launch bay by manually pulling lever (4) on both front lock pin assembles (3)
simultaneously.

CAUTION
Dot not raise BAP more the 2 ft (0.6 m) or damage to
BAP air supply and winch hoses will result.
ab. Move HIGH IDLE switch (5) to ON, and hold joystick (8) in UNLOAD
position until bay starts to roll, then release joystick (8).
ac. Move HIGH IDLE switch (5) to OFF, and hold joystick (8) in LOAD position
until BAP is fully stowed and NO TRANSIT WHEN LIT indicator (7) is off.
