WINCH ELECTRONIC BOX REPLACEMENT (Contd)
REMOVAL
1. Slide connector lock (8) down and disconnect winch harness connector (9) from receptacle (7) on
electronic box (6).
2. Remove nut (13), lockwasher (12), washer (11), ground cables (10) and (14), and washer (11) from
stud (15) on side of electrical box (6). Discard lockwasher (12).
3. Remove two screws (3), electronic box (6), mounting plate (4), and space block (2) from winch
assembly (1).
4. Remove four nuts (17), lockwashers (16), electronic box (6), and screws (5) from mounting plate (4).
Discard lockwashers (16).
INSTALLATION
1. If removed, install electronic box (6) on mounting plate (4) with four screws (5), new lockwashers
(16), and nuts (17).
NOTE
Apply sealing compound to threads of screws at installation.
2. Install spacer block (2), mounting plate (4), and electronic box (6) on winch assembly (1) with two
screws (3). Tighten screws (3) to 34 lb-ft (46 Nm).
3. Install washer (11), ground cables (14) and (10) on stud (15) with washer (11), new lockwasher (12),
and nut (13).
4. Position winch harness connector (9) to receptacle (7) on side of electronic box (6) and slide
connector lock (8) up to locked position.
