OPERATING PROCEDURES - TRANSFERRING FUEL FROM TACTICAL QUIET GENERATOR BASE

All personnel must wear personal flotation device, hard hat, safety shoes and gloves
during FC operations and maintenance. Failure to observe these precautions could
result in serious injury or death.
Ensure container and generator are grounded before beginning refueling operation.
Failure to observe these precautions could result in serious
injury or death.
Transferring fuel to day tank must not be attempted while generator is operating as
it presents a safety hazard. Failure to observe this warning could result in serious
injury or death to personnel.

Fire extinguisher and spill kit must be present during transfer of fuel from base tank to day tank.
Transfer of fuel to day tank should be performed prior to staring operation or
at end of operation.

Transfer fuel from the 1000 gallon tank to the day tank using auxiliary electric fuel pump.
