Remove the transceiver (2) from the charger (8) when battery charge time has elapsed.

Water resistance of the transceiver is assured only when the battery pack and antenna are
attached to the transceiver.
Never key the transceiver without the antenna attached. Damage to the
transceiver will occur.

Turn the POWER/VOLUME knob (10) clockwise to turn the transceiver on.
