Kinked wire rope will not work in the griphoist. Use only the hoist hook cable provided. Other wire ropes deform under pressure of the jaws, causing hoist malfunctions.b.Feed hoist cable (17) into the griphoist at the feed end (25) and pull it clear of anchoring hook (24) attachment point.c.Install anchoring hook (24) on griphoist (15).d.Move wire rope release lever (26) to lock position by striking it with a sharp blow of hand.e.Place operating handle (27) on power stroke lever (28).f.Work the handle (27) back and forth to pull hoist cable (25) through griphoist (15).271724152617252829
