To adjust float drop, turn carburetor assembly over so float drops and proceed as follows:a.Using a mechanics rule, verify the distance (22) from the lower surface of the of the carburetor body (23) to a line parallel to the lowest point on the float (24) (1-1/8 in. - 1-5/8 in), (28 - 41 mm). b.Adjust float lever tab (25) to obtain proper float drop. 18. Turn carburetor assembly over onto top cover.19. Install new float bowl gasket (13) and float chamber (9). WARNING20. Apply sealing compound to threads of the four float bowl screws (8).21. Install four screws (8) and tighten.22. Using a torque wrench, tighten screws (8) in criss-cross configuration, to 25 - 35 in. lbs (2.8 - 4.0 N-m).END OF WORK PACKAGE22232425
