TRANSMISSION SIDE OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY SERVICE (Sheet 2 of 8)
REMOVAL:
1.
Using hose clamp pliers, loosen clamp (A).
2. Disconnect rubber tubing (B) from oil
filler tube (C).
3. On earlier model transmissions, use
9/16 inch socket to remove two screws
and lockwashers (D) securing bracket.
4. On later model transmissions, use
3/4 inch socket and extension to remove
two nuts (D) securing bracket to
transmission.
