Using two 9/16 in. wrenches, loosen two nuts (R) and (S) on end of shaft (K). Do not allow

shaft to turn or damae to control will result.
Push or pull shaft (K) until 1-1/8 in. gage block just fits between cotter pin (M) and sleeve

With gage block in place, rotate upper nut (R) until metal to metal contact exists between

upper nut (R) and lever assembly (T).

Using 9/16 in. wrench back off upper nut (R) 1-1/2 turns.

Using two 9/16 in. wrenches, hold nut (R) and lock lower nut (S) securely against upper
nut (R).
