EXTERIOR RELEASE HANDLE MOUNTING BRACKET REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 2)
INSTALLATION:
Using hands, install new preformed
1.
packings (A) onto bracket (B).
2.
Using 1-1/8 inch wrench, screw nuts
(C) all the way down onto bracket (B).
3.
Press bushings (D) and washers (E) into
couplings (F).
Tighten couplings (F) finger tight
4.
to bracket (B).
CAUTION
Be sure not to overtighten couplings
(F) or tubes (G) will collapse.
Using 1 inch wrench to hold coupling
5.
(F), use 1-1/8 inch wrench and tighten
nuts (C) against coupling (F).
Place mounting bracket (B) onto vehicle.
6.
Screw two nuts (G) to mounting 'bracket
7.
(B) (inside hull).
Using 1-1/8 inch wrench, tighten two

nuts (H).
Install outside release handle control
9.

Install exterior release handle body
10.
assemblies (page 20-41).
