FIXED FIRE EXTINGUISHER OUTSIDE RELEASE HANDLE CONTROL ASSEMBLY
REPLACEMENT (Sheet 3 of 4)
INSPECTION:
1.
Inspect cables (A) for kinks and frayed
areas.
Replace cables if kinked or frayed.
2.
Examine exterior control assembly (B)
3.
for cracks.
Replace exterior control assembly (B) if damaged.

INSTALLATION:
NOTE
Control assembly mounted toward
center of vehicle is first shot.

Using 9/16 inch wrench, screw two nuts (C) onto two control assemblies (B).
Using 5/16 inch wrench on flats (D) of

two con trol assemblies (B), install two
control assemblies (B) on hull.
Thread cables (A) with release handle
3.
assemblies (E) from outside of vehicle,
through handle mounting bracket and
through two control assemblies (B).
