Pin two push bars (short or long) to davits with bracing pins and secure with retainer clips.

Position truck near end of bridge. Ensure that truck is straight with the bridge and centered over
centerline. Move truck forward slowly and attach push bars to adapter on truck using bracing pin and
retainer clip. Ends of push bars are attached to the outside brackets of adapter.

Set davit posts and puller cables vertically in both directions by moving baseplates and truck as
necessary. Baseplates may have to be levelled with packing.
