ENGINE ACCESS COVERS (RIGHT BANK) REPLACEMENT (Sheet 4 of 5)
INSTALLATION:
1.
P o s i t i o n access cover (A) in place on engine.
2.
I n s t a l l three screws and washers (B) to secure
access cover.
3.
U s i n g socket and extension, tighten three
screws ( B ) .
4.
I n s t a l l union (C) with hose attached in access
cover ( A ) .
5.
I n s t a l l nut (D) onto union ( C ) . Using 11/16 inch open end wrench, tighten nut (D).
6.
C o n n e c t f u e l r e t u r n h o s e f i t t i n g (E) to union (C). Using 9/16 inch open end wrench,
t i g h t e n hose fitting (E).
7.
Position timing access cover (F) in place
on engine.
8.
Install three screws and washers (G) to
secure timing access cover (F) and hose
clamp on engine. Using socket, tighten
three screws (G).
