HEU OVERHEAD CYLINDER HYDRAULIC HOSES, "AA"AND "AB" REPLACEMENT

INSTALLATION:
1.
Place a new preformed packing (A) on elbow (B). Use adjustable wrench to install elbow (B) into counter
balance valve "DA" (C).
2.
Place a new preformed packing (A) on elbow (D). Use adjustable wrench to install elbow (D) into port "CN" on
front glacis.
3.
Use wrench to install hose assembly "AB" (E) between elbow (B) and elbow (D).
4.
Place new preformed packing (A) on elbow (F). Use adjustable wrench to install elbow (F) into counter balance
valve" DA" (C).
5.
Place new preformed packing (A) on elbow (G). Use adjustable wrench to install elbow (G) into "CM" port on
front glacis.
6.
Use wrench to install hose assembly "AA" (H) between elbow (G) and elbow (F).
7.
Bleed hydraulic system (page 3-72).
8.
Check for hydraulic leaks and correct as necessary.
9.
Service hydraulic reservoir as needed (LO-12).
10. Install front hose armor (page 3-134).
11. Install overhead cylinder armor (page 3-224).
