Using rags and dry cleaning solvent,
1.
clean all parts.
Inspect filter element for damage,
2.
filter element if defective
3.
INSTALLATION:
1.
Manually install new preformed packing (A)
in filter element (B).
2.
Manuallv install new preformed packing (C) in cover
(D).
Aline groove (E) of filter element (B) with
3.
tab (F) on cover (D) and press filter element
(B) on cover (D) until tab (F) snaps in place.
Insert assembled filter element (B) and

cover (D) in housing (G) and aline screw
holes.
Manually install four screws (H) and new
5.
Using socket, tighten four screws (H).
6.
Service hydraulic reservoir (LO 5-5420-202-12).

Check for hydraulic leaks and correct as necessary.
9.
Service hydraulic reservoir (LO 5-5420-202-12).
